A warm welcome awaits you in western Kenya

The Nasio Trust is based in Musanda, a rural community about an hour’s drive from Kisumu, near the shores of Lake Victoria.

Your journey begins when you arrive at Nairobi’s international airport. From there, take a short one-hour flight to Kisumu, where our friendly local team will meet you and drive you to Musanda, your base for your volunteer experience.

Fancy a Day Trip?

Our 10 seater minibus can be hired with a driver for day trips to Kakamega Forest and nearby towns of Bungoma and Kisumu (nestled on Lake Victoria).

Bukaya Rock

Just a short walk from the guesthouse takes you to Bukaya Rock, a breathtaking viewpoint where you can gaze out as far as the border of Uganda. It’s an ideal spot to take in the scenery and enjoy a quiet moment of reflection.
